No. We come to you! We find animals do best when in their familiar surroundings.
No worries! We can still do pet sitting visits and midday breaks. We are happy to change out pads or play in the yard or house.
We do not stay overnight. We can however do a later bedtime visit and early breakfast visit. We've found most pets do really well with this.
Our prices are per visit, but we do charge more for more than 3 animals, or if the dogs must be walked separately.
We do not. However, if they are very complicated we ask that you lay them out in a pill planner or bags.
We recommend medical boarding with your vet in this case, where they will have round the clock care.
For the health and safety of all our animals, we do not do dog park visits.
Absolutely! We will send you a text and pic each day!
We will make every effort to contact you and take your pet to your vet, or if after hours, the nearest animal ER. We are also American Red Cross Pet First Aid certified.
We do walk in all weather except thunderstorms. Luckily those usually blow through quickly and we can head out. If it is below 10 degrees, we keep it short to a potty break and play inside. If it's very hot we keep it slow and bounce around to shady spots. Of course we always follow the dogs cues for what they are up for.
We are sorry but we will not accept job shares where a friend, neighbor, or family member not living in the home does some visits and Happy Tails does others.
We completely understand this! That's why we are bonded and insured. We always do a meet and greet prior so you know who will be in your home. We have tons of references if you would like to speak to another pet parent who has been through it!
